Mainly of the vulgarity promoted by the fashion-cosmetic industrial complex. With continuing refinement of my perception, the world seems to be increasingly vulgar and ugly place.
The natural beauty of human body is subtle and sophisticated. For the eyes of the vulgar, it needs to be "dumbed down". Exaggerated, smoothed, coloured, "adorned" with crude pieces of metal, plastic and stone and various other ridiculous accessories.
Also, at some point, I just started hating most of jewellery, all these thick wires sometimes even sticking out of flesh, all these grotesquely crude thick pieces of metal with vulgarly filed down "precious" stones.
I used to wear pendants and stuff like that, but damn, that stuff is so crude and uncomfortable to wear. Sometimes I wonder if jewellery that would be up to my standards would be physically possible to manufacture or if it can only exist in the realms of idea?
Everything is shit.
